Description
TB-500 — Synthetic Thymosin Beta-4 Analogue
TB-500 is a synthetic peptide analogue of the naturally occurring protein Thymosin Beta-4. It is supplied for in vitro laboratory research only.
Research context
Preclinical literature has examined TB-500 for its interaction with G-actin and its role in regulating actin polymerization dynamics. Investigators have studied its effects on fibroblast and endothelial cell migration using in vitro angiogenesis and cell-migration (scratch) assays. Model systems also include tendon- and ligament-derived cell cultures used to examine cytoskeletal remodeling pathways.
