IGF1-LR3 — Long R3 IGF-1 Analogue

IGF1-LR3 is a recombinant analogue of insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), modified with a substituted B-chain residue and an extended R3 N-terminal sequence that reduces binding-protein affinity. It is supplied for in vitro laboratory research only.

Research context

Preclinical literature has examined IGF1-LR3 in IGF-1 receptor (IGF-1R) binding and autophosphorylation assays, and in cell-proliferation assay systems using IGF-1R-expressing cell lines. Comparative studies have also characterised its binding-protein interaction kinetics relative to native IGF-1.
