ACE-031 — ActRIIB-Fc Fusion Protein (Myostatin/Activin Decoy Receptor)

ACE-031 is a soluble fusion protein combining the extracellular domain of the activin receptor type IIB (ActRIIB) with the Fc region of human IgG1. It is supplied for in vitro laboratory research only.

Research context

Preclinical literature has examined ACE-031 in receptor-binding assays as a decoy for myostatin (GDF-8) and related TGF-β superfamily ligands, including activin A and GDF-11. Studies in cell culture and animal models have investigated ActRIIB-pathway signalling following ligand sequestration.
